#3008W Tahiti: two original photographs, c 1930's Dance performance (14th July celebrations) and traditional house. Photographer unknown 130 x 90 mm Each with handwritten inscription verso: 1. Here is a native singer performing among his group of dancers in the government park during 14 of July celebrations. This picture was taken several years before the war. They do not perform any more now. 2. A native pandanus and bamboo home of one of the well to do families....a native girl married to a white man usually lives in a home like this......... Both photographs in fine condition.
