#3013Z Three young women with parasols, Rarotonga, Cook Islands Real photo postcard, c 1905 (postally used, dated 17 July.....) 138 x 88 mm Photographer unkown The message on reverse was written on board HMS Challenger (Hermes Class Cruiser, 1902-1920) at Sydney, and mentions Rarotonga as one of the places in the Pacific visited by the warship with "the Governor". Very good condition with some minor corner wear; the two small blemishes upper right are in the negative.
